Pooch Plunge 2025 in Greensburg

September 1 – It’s time for the annual dog swim day at the Greensburg Swimming Pool, Monday, September 1 from 7-8 p.m. Proof of current vaccinations required as are dog tags for Greensburg residents. No aggressive dogs allowed.

Come out for Filley Fest

September 4 – The Filley Festival will be Thursday, September 4 from 5- 7:30 p.m. Experience art, live music, and more at the Vernon Filley Art Museum, outdoors at Merchants Park and on the streets in between Jackson and Main in Pratt. Call the museum for more information at 620-933-2787.

Cowgirl Red Artist Talk Lunch and Learn

September 5 – Vernon Filley Art Museum. Join us on Friday, September 5th at noon for Lunch and Learn featuring Terah Murphy of Cowgirl Red speaking about vintage western fashion and art.

Storm of Passion Film Screening

September 11 – Greensburg Twilight Theatre & Community Auditorium hosts a special screening of Storm of Passion—a new documentary that dives into the world of storm chasing, family bonds, and the legendary Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2 (TIV-2). The film will show from 7-8 p.m. to Doors open at 6 p.m. for a casual meet and greet in the lobby with members of the Storm of Passion team before the film begins.

Pratt Area Chamber Golf Tournament

September 12 – Park Hills Country Club. Mark your calendars for the first-ever Pratt Area Chamber Golf Tournament on Friday, September 12th! Join us for a fun day on the course as we bring together Chamber members, local businesses, and community supporters for a great cause. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just along for the fun, this event is sure to be a hit. More details coming soon—stay tuned!

Pratt Elks Car Show at Lemon Park

September 13 – We are very excited to be selected for donation from the Pratt Elks organization car show. Please come out to this fun family event to see the cars and if you have a car, motorcycle, etc. Please bring it out to the show. This is a great local event provided by the Elks organization. Registration at Lemon Park starts at 8 am. Awards start at 3 pm. $25 registration.

8th Annual Pratt Oktoberfest

September 20 – Yes, it is in September. Join us for the best party in town, the 8th Annual Pratt Oktoberfest will be held in Lemon Park, 5-10 p.m. We’ll have yard games, the Jim Kucera band, stein holding contest, food trucks and cold beverages. This event is 21 & over only and all the proceeds go to local philanthropic causes.

Candle Pouring Workshop

September 27 – Pour two candles into handmade ceramic holders made by Tyler Dallis and scents that you create! From 1-2:30 p.m. in the Vernon Filley Art Museum Courtyard. Cost: $80 includes supplies for two candles. Ages: 13+ Register by calling (620) 933-2787.
