Treats for Pets event at Tractor Supply in Pratt

January 18 – On Saturday, January 18, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. the Tractor Supply Company is hosting a pet treat tasting event in Pratt. This event will give pets the chance to sample a variety of pet treats available at Tractor Supply Company. Bring your pets, all are invited!

SPLC Pancake and Sausage Supper

January 18 – The annual St. Paul Lutheran men’s club will host their annual pancake and sausage supper, 4:30- 7 p.m., Saturday, January 18 at the Lutheran Church 6 miles NE of Pratt, Hwy 61. Supper includes pancakes, waffles, French toast, eggs, sausage, coffee, juice, milk. Free-will offering. Proceeds benefit district and local mission projects.

Commodities distribution day (Dept. of Child and Family Services)

January 22 – Pratt County residents may come to the Pratt Community Center, 619 N. Main, to pick up Commodities from 2-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 (fourth Wednesday every other month). Government income guidelines apply.

Register for Women’s Conference

January 25 – Refined, a women’s faith conference will take place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, in Pratt. Take the time now to register before January 15 in order to get a special conference t-shirt. Tickets are $25 and include lunch, t-shirt, and a take home project. Stafford County food distribution is Saturday

January 28 – The Emergency Food Assistance Plan commodity distribution is scheduled for January 28 in St. John, from 9-10 a.m., at the Witt Community Center, 215 E 3rd Ave. The commodities are available to any age low-income household.

21 Central District Agriculture & Natural Resources hosts workshops

January 30 – We are hosting a Winter Agronomy Series on January 30, starting at 12 noon, at the Stafford County Extension Office, 210 E. 3rd, St. John, Kansas.
