Lunch and Learn in St. John

February 7 – It’s Lunch and Learn time at the Ida Long Goodman Memorial Library in St. John, 12 noon on Friday, February 7. Join librarian Jo McFadden as she hosts Tori Perez, St. John City Police Chief to share what every parent should know about vaping. Free lunch provided. Homecoming at Kiowa County High School

February 8 – The Kiowa County High School Winter Homecoming festivities have been rescheduled to take place this Saturday, February 8 in Greensburg. The Mavericks will be hosting Spearville for basketball and the crowing ceremony will take place at halftime of the boys varsity game. A homecoming dance follows later that evening.

February 10 – Everyone is invited to the historic Gray Photo Studio in St. John from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, February 10 for an open house. This event is an opportunity to tour the revitalized space, learn about the ongoing renovation efforts, and celebrate the preservation of this important part of our community’s history.

February 15 – LifeLine Screening will host a simple, screening event on Saturday, February 15 at the Pratt Community Center. Using ultrasound technology Life Line Screening checks for plaque buildup in the arteries. Pre-registration required. Call 800-772-8243.

March 1 – The Vernon Filley Art Museum invites all supporters to their annual Mardi Gras Ball and Art Auction on Saturday, March 1 at the Pratt Municipal Building. Please register by calling 620-933-2787. Tickets required for entrance.
