Ladies Night Out in Pratt

October 16 – Participating Pratt businesses will be open 5:30 – 8 p.m. for the annual Ladies Night Out event. At The Filley, Janet Rode will read at 6 p.m. and gift shoppe is open with original art, unique gifts, and beautiful finds to fit every budget. Refreshments served.

Quilters unite for public show

October 18 – Pratt Area Quilters’ Guild invites the public to attend their annual Quilt Show 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday, October 18, at the First United Methodist Church at 100 N. Jackson. Please enter the south doors to the church. Suggested donation is $5.

Sound Crew plans meal and show in Pratt

October 20 – Sound Crew (formerly the Sweet Adelines of Pratt) will perform and a delicious spaghetti meal will be served 5:30-7 p.m. Monday, October 20 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1223 N. Main, Pratt. Proceeds will go to Pratt County Food Bank.

Chamber After Hours at The Filley
October 23 – Vernon Filley Art Museum, Pratt – 5 to 7 pm – Join us for networking, appetizers, bar and a short program about the Filley. Open to the public – we are looking forward to expressing thanks to our business members as well. We are serving up refreshments and Moscow Mules for you while you wander our galleries, get to know The Filley, and visit with friends.
Oil Painting Two-Day Workshop with David Vollbracht
October 25 – 26 – Oil Painters of America artist David Vollbracht is teaching a two-day painting class at Park Hills Country Club. October 28 – The 5.4.7 Arts Center hots painting instructor: Rob Compton – $65 – Includes lunch & supplies, 9 am – 4 pm, in Greensburg.- Do you ever take a photo thinking, “This would make a great painting,” but struggle to bring it to life on canvas? In this one-day workshop, landscape artist Rob Compton will guide you step-by-step through the process of transforming reference photos into expressive, fully realized oil paintings.

Trunk or Treat in Greensburg
October 31 – “Hotel Translyvania” Movie at the Greensburg Twilight Theatre at 3:30 pm. Free! Sponsored by Holly Kaye’s Country Cafe, Mullinville. Trunk or Treat on in the first 2 blocks of South Main Street from 5:30-6:30pm. Join the fun, decorate your vehicle, line up and pass out treats! Free hot dogs and chips. Then trick or treat around town afterwards. Look for houses with their porch lights on!

Trunk or Treat in Pratt

October 31 – Join us for the Pratt Presbyterian Church’s First Annual Trunk or Treat, 3-5 p.m. between Ninnescah and Oak St. just one block from downtown on 1st St./HWY 54 at Pratt Presbyterian Church.
