We are proud to share exciting news with our Pratt USD 382 community: Pratt High School (PHS) has been named a “Best High School” in the U.S. News & World Report annual rankings of high schools across the nation. Pratt High ranked 13th in Kansas, placing it among the top 4% of schools that qualified for ranking. Nationally, PHS placed in the top 15% of high schools.
Busy times at the senior center this past week as high school teacher Mr. Llording and the current events class came to talk to our Veterans about helping with their Veterans Day program at the school. And the health department was here to do our flu shot clinic.
Pratt High School football put on a crown-worthy homecoming show defeating the Collegiate Spartans 35-0 on Friday, October 4 at Zerger Field in Pratt.
The 18th Annual Skyline Invitational was run on Saturday, September 13, to a large and enthusiastic crowd in Pratt. At the 10 a.m. start, the weather was perfect, overcast with a slight breeze. The course was in tip-top shape, green and lush from weeks of rain and manicured to perfection. There were 30 middle school and high school teams in attendance, with 3 of the top four teams from last year’s 1A state championship at the meet, so competition was fierce.
