Candidate for Kansas Governor supports congressional term limits

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Term Limits (USTL), the leader in the national, non-partisan movement to limit terms for elected officials, is gathering support from state lawmakers across the nation. Its mission is to get 34 states to apply for an amendment proposal convention specific to term limits on Congress. Governor of Kansas candidate, Stacy Rogers, has committed support for term limits on Congress by signing the Term Limits Convention pledge.

Moss to retire from business ownership

Lou Lynne Moss, owner of The Flower Shoppe in Pratt, has been in business for 48 years, providing flowers, gifts, holiday decor, and much more to the patrons of Pratt and beyond. In the month of December 2025, she will step away in retirement from a business and building that has been her life for so long with hopes to take a little longer walks with her dog Louie, while still providing workshops and floral advice for those who call, just not full time anymore.

Fall FUNdraiser supports library events in Pratt

There were treats and there were tricks, but the Pratt Public Library Fall FUNdraiser event has grown through the years to be more about family fun and raising money for library projects and less about celebrating Halloween. Instead of kids in costumes getting candy handouts, families buy tickets and parents take children around to different stations where they can pet animals, throw bean bags at balloons, make funny faces on circle boards, creatively paint pumpkins, or collect tiny trinkets in exchange for tickets.
