Photo-Caption:A crew of local residents, teachers and students helped put on a home novice forensics meet at Kiowa County High School on February 28. According to forensics coach Kim McMurry, Andy took first in informative speaking to qualify for the State Festival, Adele placed 4th in original oration, and Macy and Adele competed in improvisational duet acting. Kyler, Lucy, and Jaucilyn represented KC as judges, and Kaden, Silas, Hannah, Atleigh, and Jase ran the draw events and assisted with tournament management. Everyone pitched in and went above and beyond to help set up and clean up. Local coaches included Peter Kern, Cory and Mylisia West and WildWest Hunts , Janet Marolf West , Jennifer Janssen , Ryan Oren, Judy Bertram and Deb Wilder. There 18 teams who came to KCHS to participate.
