For seven weeks the Tri-County Tribune has been selecting high school Fall Sports Athletes of the Week, to honor and recognized the hard work, dedication, and talent of student-athletes in the Tri-County Tribune coverage area. Week 7 recognition went to Jude Nelson, Skyline senior cross-country runner and Anastin Teasley, Pratt High School senior golfer. Jude Nelson

Skyline High School senior Jude Nelson finished 9th at the 2024 State Cross County Meet, leading Skyline boys team to a 2nd place team finish. It was a wet and muddy course and it poured rain all morning. The mental grit Nelson and his teammates showed was remarkable. Congratulations to this awesome Thunderbird and the Tri-County Tribune week 7 male Athlete of the Week!

Anastin Teasley

Pratt High School senior golfer Anastin Teasley is the Tri-County Tribune female Athlete of the Week 7, selected for her top performances at regional and state tournament play this year. Teasley was 5th at Regionals, propelling the Greenbacks to second place as a team. At state, Teasley finished 31st and Pratt was one of the top 12 teams at state.
