Letter to the Editor: Christians must employ their privilege to vote on November 5

Dear Editor:

The year was 1945, World War 2 had just ended; your fathers and mine had just fought a war against tyrannical rulers of socialist and imperialist governments.

Here we are today on the brink of a very important election. Oh how our world has changed in just three generations!

If our fathers and grandfathers were to come back for a glimpse of the state of our country, I know that mine would be appalled beyond measure. Illegal immigration and the crimes that come with it—murder, rape, and human trafficking are at an all time high. Runaway inflation has affected us all, especially our young people who are just starting out as adults with the aspiration of owning their own homes. Cross dressers (aka drag queens) sexually grooming our preschoolers and students in public libraries and schools is another source of disgrace along with child sexual mutilation and chemical castration, sometimes against the parent’s will. Biological men and boys competing against and injuring our daughters and granddaughters in competitive sports is appalling as well. Abortion verbally touted as “women’s health care” is another instance of deception and degradation. These issues are relevant as well as so many others—too numerous to name.

But, rather than focusing solely on the negative aspects of our society, this letter is meant to motivate and encourage you to exercise your right, duty, and PRIVILEGE to vote on November 5th or before! It is estimated that 40 million self-proclaimed Christians don’t vote, that is unconscionable!

We live in a country with the most brilliant foundation of government-the Constitution! Godly men risked their very lives to pen and sign that magnificent document that guarantees our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!

The brilliant Winston Churchill once said,

“Democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.” As is common knowledge, socialism and communism has always failed and freedom is never free. May we all honor those who have gone before us, who literally put their lives on the line for us and continue to fight for our FREEDOM!!!

Only by God’s grace and hand of Divine Providence from the era of the Pilgrims to today’s Patriots will our Constitutional Republic not only survive but thrive.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7: 14-16

Blessings to all,
