Before coming to farming full time, Suzi Batdorff managed restaurants while spending her spare time helping plant and harvest at Viavi Flower Farm in Southwestern Michigan. She now works fulltime with her farm-based flower business, having created a successful local market presence, delivery subscription service, and heirloom flower farming operation on the original Viavi farmland, she has also taken the management skills she learned in the restaurant industry to create a thriving and growing delivery, wedding, and event business.
