At its annual meeting held in conjunction with the Kansas Corn Symposium, the members of the Kansas Corn Growers Association held elections for the southwest, south central and southeast Kansas board positions.
Newly elected to the board is Kylee Geffert, Humboldt, who will represent the southeast district. She replaces Chad Epler, Columbus, who retired from the board. Kent Moore, Iuka, was reelected to represent the southcentral district, and Ben McClure, Hugoton, was reelected to represent the southwest district.
KCGA members approved the 2025 KCGA Resolutions and heard KCGA and National Corn Growers Association updates.
Following the annual meeting, the KCGA board held its reorganizational meeting to elect officers. The board reelected the current slate of officers. The members of the 2025 KCGA board are: President J.D. Hanna, Silver Lake; Vice President Matt Splitter, Lyons; Secretary Brett Grauerholz, Republic, and Treasurer Emma Jenks, Perry; Brent Rogers, Hoxie; Tanner McNinch, Ness City; Ben McClure, Hugoton; Kent Moore, Iuka; Jeff Albers, Denton, and Kylee Geffert, Humboldt.
Established in 1975, the Kansas Corn Growers Association is celebrating 50 years of advocacy representing its members in legislative and regulatory issues and promoting Kansas corn and its products.
