Thank you to those who submitted their first flower pictures of the 2025 spring season to share with Tri-County Tribune readers. The bright colors and new life are always an inspiration for many.

First place this year was captured by Patrice Egging and her delightful picture of her granddaughter Addley holding a bouquet of unknown petals on a bench at the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks grounds.

Second went to Tricia Shipley and her rose-colored tulips. Third place awarded to Sarah Hampton and her irises.

Each winner received a packet of flower seeds for their effort and future enjoyment.
