The K-State College of Agriculture recently highlighted Madeline Drake, a junior from Pratt County who is majoring in agricultural and natural resources communications, in their social media platforms.
Drake, a former USD 382 student and active member of Pratt County 4-H is currently the student podcast producer for the Beef Cattle Institute at K-State and plans to graduate in December 2025.
“My involvement with 4-H and FFA provided me with a glimpse into all that K-State has to offer,” Drake said. “It’s the people who make up the Wildcat family that truly make it awesome.”
After graduation, Drake said eh plans to further her career in communications by working as a communications specialist for a Kansas agriculture company, where she hopes to continue making an impact in the industry.
K-State is the university for Kansans and #KStateAg shines across all 105 Kansas counties.
