Greenback Hall of Fame ceremonies planned

Sept. 27 – The public is invited to attend Greenback Hall of Fame Reception and Induction Ceremonies at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Vernon Filley Art Museum. Inductees will also be introduced at the Homecoming Assembly at 1:30 p.m., PHS gym, and take part in the 3 p.m. homecoming parade.

Artist to blow glass at pumpkin patch

Sept. 28/29 – Kansas Touring Roster artist, April Lemon, will be blowing glass at the 29th Avenue Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, September 28 from 1-6 p.m. She will then have an artist talk at the 5.4.7 Arts Center on Sunday, September 29 from 1-2 pm. in Greensburg.

Youth Core pig roast fundraiser coming soon

Sept. 29 – The public is invited to the Youth Core Ministries annual pig roast, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sunday, September 29 at he Pratt Municipal Building, 117 W. 3rd, Pratt. All proceeds benefit Pratt Core Life.

Save the date for Stafford Oktoberfest

Oct. 4, 5 – Stafford County celebrates 35th Annual Oktoberfest with a parade, beer garden, magic show, street dance, carnival games, inflatables and arcade trailer, traditional games, cornhole, duck race, music, dancing, bingo and more. www.oktoberfeststaffordks.com.

SCCF Gala to take place October 5

Open House at Pratt Fire Department

Oct. 12 – The City of Pratt Fire Department will host an open house and meet and greet event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the city fire station, 201 S. Jackson, Pratt. This is an opportunity for education about fire extinguishers and station tours, held in conjunction with Fire Safety Week.

Pratt Regional Medical Center plans Health Fair

Oct. 19 – PRMC and Pratt County Health Department off discounted lab work, flu shots, breakfast, health vendors and raffle prizes Saturday, October 19, 2024, 7:30-11 a.m. at the Pratt Municipal Building.
