Public invited to church open house

November 9 – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pratt, 1108 Stout Street, invites the community to a special Open House on Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. to noon. The meetinghouse has been renovated and a new chapel added to the north side of the building.

It’s time to put up the lights

November 9 and 10 – Lemon Park Lights volunteers will be setting up the Christmas lights and displays on Nov. 9 and 10 at Lemon Park in Pratt. It takes a village to get this done so please join in by stopping by and offering to help. The park has been flagged for usual display placement. Call (620) 352-0203 with questions.

“The Peterson Farm Brothers” Live on Stage

November 9 – “THE PETERSON FARM BROTHERS” LIVE ON STAGE” Doors Open 7:30 p.m. at the Greensburg Twilight Theatre and Community Auditorium, 200 S Main St, Greensburg. Tickets can be found online at tickets.twilighttheatre.org.

Ribbon cutting and soil health workshops planned

November 15 – PrairieFood, developer of an innovative approach to converting waste biomass into safe, valuable, high-carbon products for agriculture and other sectors, announces the ribbon cutting of its facility in Pratt, Kansas along with the PrairieFood Forum + Soil Health Workshop. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, November 15 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pratt Municipal Airport. Soil health workshops will also take place during two days of planned events. Commodities (Dept. of Child and Family Services)

November 20 – Pratt County residents may come to the Pratt Community Center, 619 N. Main to pick up Commodities from 2-5 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 20 (usually the 4th Wed. every other month). Government income guidelines apply.

Christmas in the Park in Pratt

November 23 – The official lighting of Lemon Park Lights and Christmas in the Park will take place Saturday, November 23 in Pratt. This is an annual free event for the whole family. Festivities ongoing throughout the day, lights turned on at 5:30 p.m.
