Trick-or-Treaters at Pratt Health and Rehab
October 31 – Thursday @ 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Bring your ghosts and goblins by for treats, but no tricks at Pratt Health and Rehab, 1221 Larimer Street, Pratt. We will be located on the EAST side of the facility, at the gazebo!
Lunch & Learn First Friday – The Art of Quilting – Vernon Filley Art Museum
November 1 – Please join us for a fascinating Lunch and Learn about quilting as an art form from Sue Buhler, Teresa Farrar, and Glen Davis. We will also hear about how the process has evolved over the years. Guests will have the opportunity to view some very beautiful quilts during the presentation.
Special Training for Food Businesses
November 1 – Stafford County Economic Development, along with NetWork Kansas, From the Land of Kansas, and 21 Central Extension, hosts a special food entrepreneur training workshop from 9:30 am – 3:30 p.m. on November 1, at the Stafford County Annex in St. John. Open House – Omega Project Outreach for Women – Kingman
November 2 – Noon – 4 p.m. at 1111 North Main Street, Kingman. Meet the team during the Open House & Grand Opening of the Omega Project’s new outreach for women in Kingman. The program already serves over 60 men and women in sober living homes in McPherson and Buhler, and this new facility will provide the same resources to women in Kingman. Commodities (Dept. of Child and Family Services)
November 20 – Pratt County residents may come to the Pratt Community Center, 619 N. Main to pick up Commodities from 2-5 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 20 (usually the 4th Wed. every other month). Government income guidelines apply.
Christmas in the Park in Pratt
November 23 – It’s time for Christmas in the Park, the official lighting of Lemon Park Lights. It is an annual free event for the whole family. Festivities ongoing throughout the day, lights turned on at 5:30 p.m.
