City of Pratt street crews have been busy taking down large trees and repairing damage to streets and sidewalks cause by those large tree roots all around town.
Last month, Public Works Department employees Brent Wittig, Keith Kissell, Skylar Stalcup, and Nick Lauffer replaced a section of road at the intersection of Champa and Cleveland streets in Pratt. Both the sidewalk (recently replaced) and the street were damaged by the roots of a large tree, which was removed by the city this past summer.
Directed by Russ Rambat, the public works department takes care of the technical work in the utility and service departments for the City of Pratt. These departments include Greenlawn Cemetery, parks, sanitation, streets, wastewater, and water.
