The Pratt High School Cheerleading squad recently began their winter sports season.
The Macksville High School boys basketball team graduated six top players from last year’s 1A Division I state champion team but they return a strong nucleus of guards to led them onward in 2023-24.“Our guards Diego Esparza and Hector Gomez have played a ton of varsity basketball and are very strong and quick and Guevara got to play a lot last year and would have played/started on most other teams that didn’t have so much depth,” said head coach Jeff Kuckelman.
The Kiowa County High School girls basketball team is in a rebuilding year of sorts this year.
The Skyline Thunderbirds Girls’ Team took the long bus ride to western Kansas for their season-opener against Southwestern Heights.

The highly ranked Pratt Community College Wrestling team wrapped up a busy month of November at the Younes Hospitality Open two Saturdays ago.The Beavers started November with a competition at the Falcoln Invitational Open and also traveled to Grand View, Iowa for the Grand View Open.
