Skyline boys host Burrton in standalone game

The Skyline Thunderbird Boys’ Team was home in the Thunderdome for a regular season game against the Chargers of Burrton in a rather unorthodox Friday night game. The Varsity Boys’ game was a standalone event in that Burrton has been fighting a numbers game in both middle and high school. Therefore, they did not field any girl’s or junior varsity boys’ teams. The 73-11 contest was a confidence builder for Skyline with an opportunity to get many players in the game.

Creadick, Candia, and Baker take first in Pratt win at Wichita South Girls Wrestling Tournament

The Pratt High School girls’ wrestling team has continued to do very well in each contest they compete in. As the season has progressed, the team has seen different girls step up and rack up valuable points when they were much needed. On Saturday, February 1, the Lady Greenbacks traveled to Wichita South where they had a very successful day and were able to claim the team championship title.

Pratt boys fourth in 11th Annual Andover Varsity Wrestling Tournament

The Pratt High School Boys’ Wrestling team opened the month of February with a very solid performance at one of their toughest regular season tournaments. The Greenbacks traveled to Andover on Saturday, February 1 for their 11th Annual varsity contest. Several wrestlers stepped up this tournament, and Pratt racked up enough points to place fourth in a tournament filled with 5A and 6A schools.
