It may be that high school football season was over months ago, but St. John-Hudson 1A high school football coach Scott Krehbiel is still processing what turned out to be a very successful Tiger football season for the 2024-25 team.
Pratt Community College defeated Mesa Community College on March 18. The Beavers traveled to Mesa, AZ to take on the 24th ranked Thunderbirds and were able to leave with a 6-3 victory!
Blake Winsor of Pratt High School accepted an invitation to compete with the Kansas Shrine Duals and will wrestle at 157 lbs. on Saturday, March 29 in the 2nd Annual KWCA event. The wrestling matchups for all weight divisions and sizes of schools takes place at Fugate Gymnasium, Kansas Newman University, Wichita, Kansas.

The Lady Tigers of St. John-Hudson lost to Centralia in the first round of 1A Girls State basketball, 27-50, last week in Dodge City. There were high points in the game for St. John, but just not enough offense when it came down to staying alive for another game.

Pratt, Kan. - The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team traveled to El Dorado, Kan. on Saturday, March 8 for the opening round of the NJCAA Region Six Men’s Basketball Tournament against the Butler Community College Grizzlies. The Beavers unfortunately lost the game 95-78 to end their season 11-20 overall and 7-17 in conference play.
The Pratt High School boys’ basketball team recently concluded their historic 2024-25 season at the 4A State Tournament this past Wednesday. The team, which was led by Head Coach Chris Battin, competed hard against some of the best competition in the state of Kansas, but unfortunately just fell short in the opening round. A two-point loss was hard to take as the Greenbacks lost this game by a heartbreaking final score of 43-45 to Andale.
