Daniel Blinov, Kenneth Rabinad Vila, and Sixto Golobart all won their matches, giving PCC a 4-2 victory in early season tennis competition. All were straight set victories.
Pratt Community College is proud to introduce Sade’ Roberts as the Assistant Coach for the Women’s Flag Football program. Coach Roberts brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion for the game, making her an invaluable addition to the Beavers’ coaching staff.
Macksville High School girls should be strong in the throws this spring following the leadership of senior Morgan Sebes. Track and field competitions should be set in tone for top performances this year with personal bests from Sebes coming in at just over 100’ in the discus, 117’ in the javelin and 33’ in the shot put. Coach Jennifer Gillespie said that newcomers Diana Ibarra, Ava and Grace Chadd should excel in the sprints and jumps, while state cross country qualifier Kennedy Butler (fresh) will anchor the distance squad.
With winter sports ending and Pratt High School beginning spring break, spring sports have kicked off for the 2025 season. One of these was the PHS baseball team, led by Head Coach Ron Hill and a class of four seniors.
The Pratt High School boys’ golf team has recently kicked off their 2025 season. This year’s team, which is expected to have a great year, is eager to get off to a solid start in their nearing contests.

Congratulations to Pratt High School senior wrestler Blake Winsor who was invited to compete in the 2025 Shrine Duals Wrestling event last weekend. Winsor won his 157 lbs. match up in fine style, as documented by Bill Rea Photography at the Wichita extravaganza.
Pratt, Kan. - The Pratt Community College baseball team picked up their first conference victory on Sunday, Mar. 16 against the Grizzlies of Butler Community College. The Beavers are 4-20 overall and 1-7 in conference play. Butler ended up winning the series 3-1 with wins in games one (5-1), two (11-10), and four (13-1) of the series. Pratt is currently sitting in eighth place in the KJCCC west standings.
