Christmas Cruise enjoyed by many
Community volunteers with the Pratt Farmer’s Market and Pratt Neighbors Helping Neighbors social media group organized a 4th Annual Pratt Christmas Lights Cruise and the public turned out Sunday, December 10 to enjoy the event.“Everything was so festive,” said Cris Siedel, who brought her family out to Main Street for the parade and to take pictures with Santa at the Pratt Merchants Park.
Davis begins job as new police chief in Greensburg
City leaders of Greensburg welcomed new Police Chief Dennis Davis to the town and to his new position at the November 20, 2023 city council meeting.City Administrator Stacey Barnes introduced Davis, who replaces Andrew Webb who resigned as City Chief of Police last month.Davis, who grew up in the Kansas City area and served 27 years as a police officer in that area, 9.5 years with the Wyandotte Sheriff’s Department and 17 years in investigations with the Mission Police Department, retired in 2018.
