Four museums offer endless opportunities for fun in Pratt

There are four museums in Pratt; each one represents multiple opportunities for fun and learning in their own way. Representatives from the Pratt Education Center and Science Museum, the B-29 Bombers on the Prairie Museum, the Pratt County Historical Museum, and the Vernon Filley Art Museum joined forces last Friday to share their event schedules and tell what they have to offer the public during a Lunch and Learn session at the Filley in Pratt.

St. John students earn top selection for short film

For the third year in a row, the Washburn WIFI Film Festival selected a St. John short film in the Kansas High School category for top level awards. The project selected, “Beyond the Truth,” was created by the first hour AV Production class at USD 350 St. John and will be screened on April 12 at Washburn Univeristy in Topeka, KS. The online awards show will stream on April 13th at 2 p.m.

Concerts bring life to Pratt

Two concerts took place this past weekend in Pratt. Unspoken, a Christian rock worship group filled the Pratt Municipal Building with light, life, and lots of sound; and a classical piano/violin duo filled the Pratt Bible Church with testimonies and soothing favorites. Both concerts took place Saturday, March 29, both were successes according to those who attended.
