SHAWNEE, KS -- Yesterday, Kansans for Constitutional Freedom, which is being run out of an abortion clinic and whose member organizations oppose all limits on abortion, released their most false and misleading ad to date.
Brandon Brown of Greensburg started a new job as the Executive Director of the Kiowa County Historical Museum and Soda Fountain last Monday, but he won’t be quitting his old job any time soon. Brown, who has worked as housing director for the Iroquoius Mental Health Center since 2004, said he was excited to take on leadership for the Kiowa County attractions and it was fitting together nicely with his other job responsibilities.
A nearly $8.8 million resurfacing project will start soon on about 38 miles of K-42 in Pratt, Barber and Kingman counties. The Kansas Department of Transportation project involves a recycle and hot-mix-asphalt overlay on K-42 in those counties.
