Brown excited to step into leadership role at Kiowa County Historical Museum and Soda Fountain

Brandon Brown of Greensburg started a new job as the Executive Director of the Kiowa County Historical Museum and Soda Fountain last Monday, but he won’t be quitting his old job any time soon. Brown, who has worked as housing director for the Iroquoius Mental Health Center since 2004, said he was excited to take on leadership for the Kiowa County attractions and it was fitting together nicely with his other job responsibilities.

Kincheloe’s hosts worldwide visitors, facilitates local ag tour

Kincheloe’s Inc. was honored to promote Kansas agriculture and facilitate visits to Pratt County farmers with 15 AGCO engineering, sales and production management representatives last month. On June 14, individuals from the United States, Germany, Italy, Brazil and South Africa stopped by the Kincheloe’s business at 10517 N. Hwy. 281, Pratt, where sales manager Eugene Stotts served as a local host and tour guide for agriculture representatives wanting to see modern farm equipment in use.

Facebook Marketplace scams are using Google Voice platforms

Selling unwanted items around your house to pick up some extra money is easier than ever, thanks to the social media platforms that offer the service. Recent years have seen Facebook Marketplace grow in popularity, competing with eBay and Craigslist. But your Better Business Bureau (BBB) warns that reports are coming in of scammer activities on the Marketplace site here in Kansas which are using Google Voice verification.
