1000 books and beyond prepares kids for school

Addison Wood is READY for Kindergarten! Especially now that she’s read more than 1,000 books and completed the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the Macksville City Library. Addison, the daughter of David & Ema Wood, is the newest member to be featured on the library’s Mini-Mustang Wall of Fame! When asked about her favorite books, Addison was quick to point out books featuring Daniel Tiger and Pete the Cat.

Lack of information

On July 5th, I delivered my load of shingles in Junction City. I then bounced up to Blue Rapids for a Stafford, TX., Load. It was hot that afternoon, tarping the load. I drank plenty of water and when I checked out at the guard shack, she gave me another ice cold bottle of water.

EPT Director Phillip “Dave” Campbell spoke about the new EPT Support Specialist major that trains students on the ground, versus training aloft in the lineman training program. The Support Specialist major gives an overall view and training foundation that could lead to a job in six other occupations in electrical distribution.
