Land donated for settlement at historic Black settlement in Kansas

rebecca.bullis@tpl.org Trust for Public Land has donated a parcel of land for a new visitor center at the site, which is the oldest and last remaining historic Black settlement west of the Mississippi River NICODEMUS, Kan. — The Township of Nicodemus, Trust for Public Land, and the National Park Service announced last week the expansion of the Nicodemus National Historic Site.
