Kansas fish consumption advisories for 2025

TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) (collectively, “Kansas”) is issuing fish consumption advisories for 2025. The following advisories identify types of fish, or other aquatic species, that should be eaten in limited quantities or, in some cases, avoided altogether because of contamination. General advice and internet resources are provided to aid the public in making informed decisions regarding the benefits and risks associated with eating locally caught fish from Kansas waters.

There are men and women who rose to leadership positions in government, dictators, the Caesars, others like sports figures and musicians who achieve fame based on their remarkable ability and that certain kind of charisma that simply is attractive.

Adventures in Reading: Human storm response depends on experiences

When I was a child, there had been a tornado, and the local television station covered the destruction heavily. Interviews of those impacted by the tornado often described it as sounding like a train. For weeks, I would lie awake on windy nights, listening for anything that sounded like a train. Warnings then were not as sophisticated as they are today. Recent storms have caused me to think about changes in storm warnings.
