Ian Dunn selected to attend National 4-H Congress

Stafford County 4-Her Ian Dunn (21 Century District) was one of 24 Kansas 4-H youth selected to represent the state during the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, set for the Thanksgiving weekend.Amy Sollock, a 4-H youth development specialist in southwest Kansas, said the annual event “offers an opportunity to grow as an individual, as well as a chance to learn about 4-H from their peers across the nation.”More than 800 youth from across the country will participate in National 4-H Congress, which is in its 101st year.

Local 4-H club shares time and information

On October 8, during a “48 Hours of 4-H” fundraiser, members of the Country Trailblazers met outside of Tractor Supply in Pratt to gather donations for Toys for Tots.This was an opportunity to also promote local 4-H clubs and members invite anyone interested in learning more, or who would like to join 4-H, to contact the local Pratt County Extension Office at 620-672-6121.4-H is a community of young people across Kansas engaged in learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
