MANHATTAN, Kansas — Kansas officials announced an agreement Monday to build a $650 million biological manufacturing plant near Manhattan that will create 500 jobs. The facility in Pottawatomie County will develop vaccines to help combat biological threats.

The Beavers played away from Angood Field for the second time this season due to weather conditions. Northwest Tech entered the afternoon with only two conference wins coming against Pratt.
The Rotary Club of Pratt celebrated their 100-year anniversary in February with a special centennial event with more than 70 members and distinguished guests attending a dinner, program, and champagne toast.
