A place to renew

After 40 years at the forefront of the health and holistic wellness realm, the words Canyon Ranch have become synonymous with stunningly beautiful exurban retreats that offer a chance to get healthy — and stay healthy — in an atmosphere of casual elegance. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit four Ranches in the United States, and I am now more than convinced that this brand excels in what they do.

Fun at the fair with my goats

It was windy outside at the Kansas State Fair this year, and really hot in the animal barns. But I still had a good time there last weekend with my three dairy goats Miss Nicky, Nellie Belle and Polkadots. The Big Well a big hit at the state fair, and throughout the summer in Greensburg

This year there were plenty of coins to give out at the Pride of Kansas building in Hutchinson as the guest book from The Big Well Museum showed a successful record number of visitors.

Artists help stabilize and grow rural communities; Pratt has Cultivator Arts

The concept is to bring communities together with Pratt as the artistic hub of Southcentral Kansas.
