Local church holds packing event for Christmas shoe boxes
On Sunday, November 6, in between pizza lunch and afternoon football games, a crew 20 members gathered at Abundant Harvest Church of the Nazarene to assemble Christmas shoe boxes for needy children around the world.

Scholar’s bowl teams off to a strong start

Skyline School agriscience teacher appointed to National Cohort of CASE Lab Specialists
Special to the Tribune Anita DeWeese, agriscience educator at Skyline School, served in the annual cohort of Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE) Lab Specialists. Thirty CASE-certified teachers were selected from across the nation to deliver curriculum demonstrations and micro-professional development in The Lab powered by CASE during the 95th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, IN in October.
