On Sunday, November 6, in between pizza lunch and afternoon football games, a crew 20 members gathered at Abundant Harvest Church of the Nazarene to assemble Christmas shoe boxes for needy children around the world.
On November 4, during a Lunch and Learn at the Vernon Filley Art Museum, Angie Pickman gave a presentation about her art studio, Rural Pearl in Lawrence, and about her career. Pickman, a native Kansan, produces works of art from cut paper.
