Kiowa County Senior Center shares holiday meal plans

Sawyer tour stops in Kiowa County
During a whirlwind tour of more than 95 counties, and counting, Katie Sawyer, candidate for Lt. Governor in partnership with Attorney General Derek Schmidt for Governor, stopped in Stafford County. On Wednesday, Nov. 2, Sawyer, along with State Rep. Kyle Hoffman and U.S. Congressman Ron Estes stopped in at Barclay College in Haviland and then held a meet and greet at the Coop in Greensburg.

AG Derek Schmidt: 180 crime victims to receive support
TOPEKA – The Kansas Crime Victims Compensation Board awarded financial assistance to 180 victims of violent crime at its September meeting, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt said. Awards were made in 74 new cases.

Skyline School agriscience teacher appointed to National Cohort of CASE Lab Specialists
Special to the Tribune Anita DeWeese, agriscience educator at Skyline School, served in the annual cohort of Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE) Lab Specialists. Thirty CASE-certified teachers were selected from across the nation to deliver curriculum demonstrations and micro-professional development in The Lab powered by CASE during the 95th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, IN in October.
