Next Sunday, December 11, the Pratt Sweet Adelines Chorus will be performing its annual “Christmas Happening” show at the First United Methodist Church in Pratt. Director Kyra Dauner said she is pleased to be able to have concerts again after having missed some for COVID in the past two years.
The Pratt Boys’ Wrestling team kicked off their season on Thursday, December 1st with a dual against Dodge City. Head Coach Anthony Brown was very pleased with the team, as they competed strongly against a big school.

The T-Birds were sitting third in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference standings and undefeated in conference play. The Beavers on the other hand, had dropped back-to-back conference games at home and were ready to rebound in the right direction.

The T-Birds entered this afternoon’s contest sitting at the top of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference standings. The Beavers were coming off a dominating win on Wednesday, November 30 at Wayland Baptist ( JV) 84-64.
HAVILAND, KS – ‘The Sound Case’ training, which helps parents and teachers of dyslexic children or children with reading difficulties, will be offered at Barclay College January 17 and 18, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Haviland.
