Another View: The Book of Mormon and miracles in our lives

Jesus, having come to his “sheep of another fold”(1) in the new world, continued to teach them, including giving the twelve disciples he had chosen and set apart from among them authority to lead His Church among them. Jesus taught repentance of sins and baptism for the remission of sins. He taught them how to bless and partake of the Sacrament, with bread in remembrance of his body and wine in remembrance of his blood. “And”, he said, “this shall ye always do … that ye may witness unto the Father that ye do always remember me.”(2)

Upcoming PCC Scholarship Auction provides a good time for a great cause

Friday, May 9, 2025 is the 37th annual Pratt Community College Scholarship Auction. The doors open at 5:30 p.m., where attendees will be greeted with a fantastic Hors d’oeuvre spread that features artisan cheese and meat charcuterie, fruit and vegetable trays, and an open bar for Happy Hour (must be 21 to enter). The silent auction will commence, where bidders have a wide array of products to bid on. From driveway rock to beauty items, there is something for everyone.
