Another View: The Book of Mormon and the prophecies of Christ

It was 34 A.D. and Jesus had come to the remnant of a people(1) who had been led out of the wicked city Jerusalem about 600 B.C., just before its destruction by the armies of Babylon. Jesus had already taught them his gospel, and the ways of righteousness. Now, He began to warn them and us of what was to come. He spoke of the Gentiles, “that they should be established in this land, and be set up as a free people by the power of the Father…that He may show forth his power unto the Gentiles, for this cause that the Gentiles, if they will not harden their hearts, that they may repent and come unto me and be baptized in my name and know the true points of my doctrine, that they may be numbered among my people, O house of Israel”(2).

Fitzsimmons part of Young Stockmen industry tours

(TOPEKA) – Jenna Fitzsimmons, Pratt County Research and Ag Extension Agent, was recently part of the 2025 Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) Young Stockmen’s Academy (YSA) which met in the Kansas City area for their second seminar of the year. Class members from across the state spent May 5-7 learning more about the beef and dairy industries and connecting with consumers.
