When the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ visited his “other sheep”(1), he instructed them by quoting from the 4th chapter of the last book in the bible, Malachi, by which he let them - and us - know that for those who “fear [honor] my name, shall the Son of Righteousness arise with healing in his wings”(2), and told them that the time would come when he would send the prophet Elijah “to turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”(3)

Do you have a moment to take God’s call?

Our Creator is always waiting and willing to bring us back into right standing with Him. Jesus said in Matthew chapter 18 that He leaves the 99 to find the lost one and brings them back into the fold. How does He do this? He brings conviction into their conscience, they see where they have strayed away from His truth, and they repent and are sorrowful for their disobedience. “Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be erased, so that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” Acts 3:19. Why does He do it? Because He loves you more than anything in the world.
