Vendors share outdoor market experiences

Cloudy skies and wet weather might have discouraged some from showing up Saturday for the second annual Old School Vintage Art Market in Iuka but it didn’t keep vendors from setting up their booths and showcasing their wares. Pastoral Commentary: Evidence of faith – do we have it?

When I was growing up I often heard preachers ask, “if Christianity were illegal, would there be enough evidence to convict you?” It is a question well worth asking. Statistics often report depressing facts about the American church which I will not relate here (though it is worth noting that when the statistician defines a ‘Christian’ as someone who regularly attends church, the statistics become much less discouraging). That there are so many people in the West who profess to be Christians and yet do not obey the Scriptural command to attend church (Hebrews 10:25) is itself significant.
