Kansas schools invited to apply for grants to champion student health and wellness

Topeka, Kansas – Schools across Kansas have the opportunity to unite around the shared goal of student health through the Healthy Habits for Life grant program available now at bcbsks.com/hhfl. The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation is offering up to $200,000 in grants to assist schools in implementing programs that promote healthy lifestyle choices to their K-12 students.

St. John Tigers win big over Ness City on homecoming night

Scott Krehbiel, Head High School Football Coach for USD #350 St. John-Hudson High School football team was happy to share stats from the Tigers week two 50-34 win over Ness City last Friday. The school, the town, supporters from all around were also happy to celebrate with the team on the convincing victory that was part of annual fall homecoming activities

Cyber security program planned

Vietnam veteran presented with quilt at Antrim church

Stafford County veteran Juan Munz was presented a Vietnam Veteran’s Quilt on Sunday, September 14, at the Antrim United Methodist Church. The ladies of the church had the quilt made for him. Most of his family was there to witness the gifting. Many thanks were extended to Munz for his military service during the Vietnam War era, as well as to all of those involved with sewing, quilting, and presenting the special quilt to Munz.

In 1 Corinthians 15, the Apostle Paul shares with us what he considers to be the most important of what he has received. In 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, he states: That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised again on the third day according to the Scriptures.
