Why did something so terrible happen to such precious little 8-year-old humans at a place that is usually so full of life, love, and joy?

Governor Kelly celebrates Grand Opening of Walmart case-ready Beef facility in Olathe

Governor Laura Kelly joined state and local leaders as well as Walmart leadership Friday to celebrate the grand opening of Walmart’s first-ever fully owned and operated case-ready beef facility in Olathe, Kansas. The new facility brings 667 new jobs to surrounding area, higher quality beef sold in Walmart stores across the Midwest, and increased transparency and efficiency in the supply chain for Angus beef.

Plan ahead for Giving Tuesday 2025

Giving Tuesday will be on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025. Planning for this year’s 12th Giving Tuesday has started at the Golden Belt Community Foundation. Again, this year the foundation is inviting all qualified charitable organizations in Barton, Edwards, Pawnee, Rush, and Stafford counties to participate in the giving campaign and celebration.
