City of Greensburg considers bids for airport water and septic system
Mayor Matt Christenson called the Greensburg City Council October 21, 2024 meeting to order with the usual council members present and the usual business to conduct.There were no citizen comments made during to open mic portion of the meeting, so the council moved on to the first item of business which was airport infrastructure project bids.
Great Plains Wondering: More outdoor experiences in Kansas wonderlands
The wind was already stout before we had even awakened at the W-Cross Ranch (our Airbnb stay for the night), which is north of Geneseo and a few miles west of Kanopolis Lake.Not only was it windy but it was also an unseasonably warm end of October day for our annual trek to Kanopolis Reservoir/State Park.Regardless, it was a great day to spend in the Kansas wonderland.This year, we visited places we had never been previously, including the Kanopolis shoreline at the Boldt Bluff Access area, Riverside Park, and Faris Caves (all Corps of Engineers locations).
