The Tri-County Tribune is preparing to launch a community conversation to foster engagement, understanding, and collaboration for a connected community. We are excited to unveil a new initiative that puts the spotlight on the voices and ideas of people in our coverage area. The “Community Conversation Initiative” is set to change the way we connect, discuss, and collaborate in a new and meaningful way.
INTRODUCTION:
With a commitment to serve the community, CherryRoad (the parent Company of the Tri-County Tribune) will introduce an innovative series of conversations with key figures from local government, county government, law enforcement, business and development, and education. This initiative aims to ask the same five questions to each of those community leaders, to improve the breadth and depth of our understanding of the Tri-County Tribune and what the community needs most from us.
WHY COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS MATTER:
As we launch this initiative, we believe that meaningful discussions are the cornerstone of a thriving community. From pressing challenges to innovative solutions, we have designed a “5 Questions/5 Answers” series to foster a deeper understanding of community dynamics, bringing to light the stories, initiatives, and goals that matter most.
YOUR VOICE MATTERS:
The Community Conversation Initiative isn’t just about asking questions; it’s about listening to those who read our newspaper and those who do not. We invite you to be a part of this endeavor by watching our interviews and then taking our online survey so you can share your perspectives and let us hear your voice.
HOW IT WORKS:
Our team has put together a set of questions, addressing everything from current challenges to future aspirations. The Tri-County Tribune staff will ask these questions to community leaders across various sectors, so we can look at these issues from different perspectives.
GET INVOLVED:
Stay tuned as we kick off the “5 Questions, 5 Answers” series, where we ask five community leaders the same five questions. Beginning the week of January 22, those interviews will appear weekly on the Tri-County Tribune website. To find the interviews, simply look for articles called “Conversations” in the Opinion category on the front page of our website.
CherryRoad Media believes that a vibrant community starts with open conversations. Join us on this journey as we amplify local voices, embrace diverse perspectives, and build a stronger, more connected community together.
