Kiowa County dog Gus, apparently got out to vote last Friday, along with many county residents who decided to write themselves, or their neighbor’s names, in as write-in candidates for the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital Board. More than 38 names were recorded on the unofficial ballot results for positions on that board. Official announcement about who will serve will be issued after votes are canvassed by county officials.
