Members of the Pratt Wrestling Club made the medal stand in several weight classes at the Kids State Tournament this past week, including Pratt’s own State Champion Raelee Prater, age 8 and under girls.

Additional state medal winners from the Pratt team were as follows.

Reagan Sowards – 4th, Mireya Cervantes – 6th, Alexis Simmons – 2-2, Saige Franklin – 2-2, Braelynn Haste – 1-2, Aleena Disman – 2-2.

Current varsity and returning state qualifier Gabriella Cervantes competed at the Kansas Kids State Tournament also finishing 2-2.

Pratt Wrestling Club kids who wrestled the previous weekend in Hays and qualified for the state competition Topeka were as follows.

1st Place: 10u girls 85 Reagan Sowards, 2nd Place 8u girls Raelee Prater, 87 girls 65 Saige Franklin, 12u girls 150 Mireya Cervantes, 87 43 Dominic Gridley, 10u 61 Connor Franklin, 10u 67 Ryder Sowards, 10u 79 Jameson Grizzell, 14u 110 Jayce Feril, 3rd Place, 14u girls 92 Alexis Simmons, 12u 84 Archer Deeds, 12u 110 Wyatt Ritz, 4th Place 8u girls 70 Brealynn Haste, HS girls 125 Gabi Cervantes, 12u 115 Noah Ricke.
