WOW!!! It’s a New Year!!!!! I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas and wish you a terrific 2025.
So, are you one that makes those things called “New Year’s Resolutions?” I usually do a couple with particularly good intentions that I
cannot remember in a month or so. Recently I read somewhere about doing something more around gratitude than doing something different. About physically making a note of something good, an act of kindness, and then making a written note of it and put it in a container. Sometimes doing something physical makes it more real and memorable.
I guess even if we do not do whatever it is that we resolve, processing it and thinking about a good change or improvement will enable us to better ourselves in some way. I do think writing it down makes it ore tangible and real and as mentioned above, makes you feel a bit more committed.
Resolutions are setting goals, creating a plan to conduct those goals, prioritizing them, tracking progress and being flexible, all of which are steps to effective leadership. I encourage you to try it…. nothing major. Keep it simple and something you can truly accomplish. Good Luck.
Happy 2025 everyone.
