Over the last month, the Pratt High School Student Council has been working with each of the Pratt schools and businesses all over town to help gather cans for the Pratt County Food Bank. Drive to Thrive is an annual food drive that Pratt High School Student Council puts on to raise food for the Pratt County Food Bank. As a community event, many businesses all around Pratt contributed to providing food in preparation for the holiday season. This year, as a community, we gathered 3,295 cans and $40 in cash for other items needed by the food bank.

StuCo wishes to thank all the businesses and individuals who helped to make this year’s Drive to Thrive successful: The Peoples Bank, Legacy Bank, Credit Union of America, Doug Reh Chevrolet, Home Lumber, Kay Salon, Joni’s Stitch by Stitch, Pratt Regional Medical Center, and Pratt Public Library. Pratt USD 382 schools also participated by building with each adding significantly to the number of items collected.

Diana Harris, manager of the food bank, said that she really appreciates the support of PHS StuCo and the community for their support of the Pratt County Food Bank. Some of the shelves were low on supplies and the holiday season is a really good time for the food drive to help fill up the shelves. She also said that it was great that everyone brought items that were listed allowing the food bank to receive the needed supplies for distribution.

Pratt High School Student Council and the Pratt County Food Bank want to thank everyone that was involved for their contributions. Every donation helped!
