Shoppers were wall-to-wall in many establishments on Thursday, October 17 downtown Pratt. It was the annual Ladies Night Out Event put on by the Pratt Retail Committee and Pratt Area Chamber of Commerce, and more than 25 establishments joined in on the fun.

“What a great turnout,” said Ain’t My First Rodeo owner Amy Dillard, at 218 1/2 S. Main Street. “There were times it was shoulder-to-shoulder in here. You couldn’t even turn around. A lot of fun, a lot of visiting, and a lot of shopping. What a great event!”

L & E Breads owners Makayla and Jacob McCarty sold out of their special sour-dough cinnamon rolls and other homemade goodies at their pop-up booth in N’Cahoots.

“We had a lot of customers,” MaKayla McCarty said. “We brought 12 dozen pans of cinnamon rolls and even that wasn’t enough.”

Shoppers enjoyed the festive night shopping with some stores serving mixed drinks and special appetizers, while others provided raffles, giveaways and special photo opportunities.

“We’re just out enjoying the time together,” said Patty Fox, who was out shopping with her daughter and granddaughter. They stopped in at the Barron Theatre, which was open in the lobby with a special pop-up stand by Kopper Kactus Design Company. “What beautiful weather and just a fun time to be out in the community with family and friends.”
