Overwatch 2 team enters competitions

The Pratt Community College (PCC) Overwatch 2 team embarks on a new mission competing in the Fall 2025 Collegiate Overwatch Homecoming Open sponsored by the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE). The team consisting of freshman Jaden Pugh, Alexa Garcia Pedroza and Isabel Ann and sophomores Joshua Packard, Carlos Garcia Pedroza and Taj Thomas will compete in a collegiate Overwatch league for the first time as a program under head esports coach Charles Keefer.

Mural grant to be applied at Merchant Park in Pratt

Pratt’s Merchant Park will soon have new mural. IMPACT Pratt has secured approval for a $5,924 grant from the Kansas Department of Commerce’s Office of Rural Prosperity. IMPACT stands for Investing in Meaningful Projects and Community Togetherness and is a brand new organization founded in 2025. Their mission is is “to enhance Pratt’s small-town charm through beautification, revitalization, and community connection.”
