Members of the Pratt Rotary Club were given an inside look at the soon-coming The Point Pavillion sports facility at their August 15 meeting by newly-hired City of Pratt Recreation Director Justin Crouch.
Kansas Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom (KFAC) has been awarded the 2025 Innovative Program Award by the National Agriculture in the Classroom Organization (NAITCO) for its development of the Clickable Kansas County Map, a groundbreaking online tool that brings local agriculture directly into Kansas classrooms.

Taylor Burcham Williamson has created a special oasis of plants, flowers, water features and native grasses in her backyard at 703 S. Ninnescah in Pratt. She calls the place Everbloom, and she is willing to share her love of all things plant and flower with others.
Now that August is in full swing, children going back to school is at the forefront of many minds.
The City of Pratt will be doing road work in city limits (weather permitting) in the following locations, according to a news release on Monday, August 19. The street department has acknowledged that this will be an inconvenience but hopes it will be a very short project.

Sometimes it just seems a little too much work to figure out right from wrong, bad from good, time to speak up or be quiet. As humans, many of us just want to coast along under the radar. Myself included! Live and let live, right? The less waves we make on the page of humanity the better off we will be, right?
