It was 34 A.D., following the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, and amidst the new world destruction wrought by overtowering storms and earthquakes, a remnant of those who survived(1) had gathered. Suddenly a voice was heard saying “Behold my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, in whom I have glorified my name - hear ye Him.”(2). As they looked they beheld a man descending out of heaven, and he spoke to them, saying “Behold, I am Jesus Christ…I am the light and life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world…”(3) Jesus did then invite the multitude to come forth and feel the wounds he had suffered for them, “that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world”.(4)
