One From the Road: Intentionally blocking traffic is not a good idea
It must have been at least 20 years ago when I first heard on the news in the Chicago area that police were using rolling roadblocks to slow down traffic. At the time, I didn’t quite understand what that meant, but it would be several years before I experienced it firsthand.

Winsor to wrestle at Kansas Shrine Duals on Saturday
Blake Winsor of Pratt High School accepted an invitation to compete with the Kansas Shrine Duals and will wrestle at 157 lbs. on Saturday, March 29 in the 2nd Annual KWCA event. The wrestling matchups for all weight divisions and sizes of schools takes place at Fugate Gymnasium, Kansas Newman University, Wichita, Kansas.

Tariffs welcomed on Canadian and Mexican beef and cattle
For decades now we’ve argued that free trade, meaning when tariffs are reduced to zero, was harming American farmers and ranchers, particularly cattle and sheep farmers and ranchers. Our logical arguments against free trade included that many foreign countries had lower wages, lower production standards, relaxed environmental standards, and weaker currencies.
